What is God's P.O.S.S.E.?
God's P.O.S.S.E. is the Indiana chapter of a National organization called the, Fellowship of Christian Peace Officers. The acronym P.O.S.S.E. stands for Peace Officers Serving the Savior Eternally. Our mission is to reach out to our brothers and sisters in the Criminal Justice System with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Although the Fellowship of Christian Peace Officers was organized in 1974, we are the first chapter in the State of Indiana. We are a non-denominational organization and meet every Monday afternoon from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. During this time we study and have discussion of God's word and enjoy fellowship with each other. This is also a time to share prayer requests and pray for our fellow Peace Officers and other requests which have been brought to our attention.
Who can join?
Anyone who is a part of the Criminal Justice System can be a full member, Police officers, Sheriff's deputies, Correctional officers, Probation officers, Prosecutors, etc., (active or retired). Anyone not employed by the Criminal Justice System who wants to be a part of this ministry can join as an associate member. Associate members can enjoy all the benefits of membership except holding office in the local chapter and voting for positions in the election for National officers.

Why should I join?
Being a part of this organization offers you, through the study of His word, prayer and Christian fellowship, an opportunity to learn how Jesus Christ can meet any need in your life and bring your life total fulfillment. This organization brings you together with other Christians who care and work together to carry out the Great Commission as we are instructed in Matthew 28:19.
We also are planning many activities throughout the year; Christian concerts, cookouts, and other exciting events throughout the year. Whether a full member or associate member come join us in our weekly Bible study and fellowship and help us plan and initiate these activities and be a part of this great organization, which God has already blessed so richly.
